Getting to know my Family

​

My Husband, Jonathan SR.; To whom I've been married to for over 6 years; 12 years total of togetherness, has always been my rock. His Loving spirit, and understanding has always brightened up my day. Even though he may be more of a child then our other children at times, he makes it very hard for me not to Love him . Since the day I met him, he has been a complete gentleman. His compassion and his character is one of a kind. He always finds ways to challenge me mentally during our long conversations that I truly love having with him. We have started so many movies and paused it; never completing it because of an offset conversation we started up. I love this about him so much, and I am very glad that I was able to met him.

 

My Step Son Jonathan JR. ; who is 14 years of age had been a wonderful part of my life. I was introduced to this young man from the early ages of only 2 and a half years old. His personality and character is one of a kind. We have grown to understand and encourage one another on a daily basis. Adding him into my life has been an honor and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. We've had some very deep conversations that I totally enjoy, and he always makes sure to keep me young and updated with today's super stars and singers. He is also what I call , my movie mate. He's the one I can call on when I want to watch some scary movies. He's the best and I will always love him for that.

 

My eldest Daughter, Ja'Leiah ; who is 5 years of age, is the ring leader of my entire crew. she is super talented, smart and controlling. I will always adore her for her strength and Charisma. Her personality is above all, the greatest. Talking to her makes me feel as if I am talking to an adult. her being around her grandparents on more than a few occasions, has turned her into an old soul. I love that about her. She is super smart, and her reading and math skills are impeccable. She's always challenging herself when it comes to learning new things, and even if she doesn't understand it on her first try, there is no doubt that she will try over and over again until she gets it right. She's some sort of a perfectionist and is extremely independent, but she gets that from me. That's why I love her so much, and I always will.  

 

My Twins, Ja'niyah and Jayana; who are 5 years old, always keep me on my feet. Due to the Twin Power I believe they already have, they always find ways to tag team me into doing the things they love. This includes singing, coloring, doing puzzles and also math homework peaks their interest. They are super intelligent, bright and full of Charity. I honestly don't know how I would make it without the two of them in my life. They are so different but very much alike, all at the same time. They have this Love and Hate relationship that completely tickles my heart. I don't think they can ever stay upset at one another for too long. That is a trait that I love about the two of them.

 

One of my twin daughter's, Ja'Niyah, has been a huge priority in my life. She was Diagnosed with a Bone Disorder called Blount's Disease. This particular disease affects the bones within her legs. During the multiple surgeries that she has endured, they have to literally break her leg bones completely and realign them the correct way. She has had over 5 surgeries all before the age of 6. Of course, this experience seemed to hurt me more than it did for her, but I believe that's just the mother in me feeling that way. I applaud her courage and strength through that entire ordeal of her life. She was always the one that talked me down before she went into surgery; explaining that she was going to be ok. Even though I was not a fan of her experiences so far in her life, I still believe that because of what she has went through has truly made her so much more determined to be great; no matter what may come in her way. I am very honored to being her mother. Even through her pain, she still managed to act silly with the rest of us, smile and sing me a new song each and every day. I love her so much for just being herself.

My other twin daughter Jayana is amazing in her own way. She is the one child that I have, that absolutely loves doing homework. She makes it a game, and doesn't stop until it is completed. She comes home from school and heads straight to the kitchen table to complete an assignment. I can buy her work books from the store with a pack of pencils, and it will brighten up her entire life. She is so easy to please, and she is the true definition of loving the simple things. She also loves to sing, and paint my finger nails; which I absolutely love. she pampers me on the daily. She's the best, and I make sure to tell her that every single day.

Getting to know me

Now, let's talk a little about me. I was born in Nashville Tennessee, but I was raised in Pontiac Michigan. My mother; whos name is Zora Bender, was a Licensed Practical Nurse and my father; whos name is Charles Bender, was a Butcher. At one part of my father's life, he became a preacher. After this change, we then moved to Michigan where he managed to being the new pastor of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. I lived a normal life, where I was blessed to having both parents in my household and also having an older brother and sister. My sister; Kenetra and my brother; Lamont was my best friends. we still are. People always find it weird how much I love my siblings, but I have always been a serious family person my entire life. We were taught that family is everything, I truly believe that.

I was currently employed at a Doctors office, where I was a Registered Medical Assistant. I really loved that job. I grew to love and appreciate them over a number of years. Due to my daughter's diagnosis, I took it upon myself to sacrifice my work to becoming a full time stay at home mom. During the time of my daughter's surgeries and with her recoveries, I wanted to make sure that I was there for her.

Since I have all types of time on my hands now, I decided to put my talents into action. That is the entire reason for me taking the time and creating countless art pieces and other crafts that I enjoy. Art is my life; has always been since I was a child, but now I am hoping to make sure that the entire world gets a taste of my designs.
