Mrs. Kendra Lei Cody, Artist & Designer

My name is Kendra Cody. I am a Stay at Home Mother of four Beautiful Children. I was currently involved in the Medical Field as a Registered Medical Assistant, but I chose to Sacrifice my Employment for the sake of my children. One of my Daughter's was Diagnosed with a Bone Disorder Called Blount's Disease. With this particular Disease, she was actually missing a few bones; which were needed for standing. Due to the seriousness of the issue, she had undergone 6 surgeries before the age of 5. Instead of continuously missing work, I decided to take a temporary leave of absents until she was healed.

Since I now have all the time in the world here at home, I decided to use the many talents that I have under my belt, and pursue it into a career here at home. The different types of Art Mediums that I love would have to be Acrylic, charcoal and Oil Paintings. The Inspiration of my Painting steam off usually by the way that I am feeling at that particular moment. If I'm feeling sad, that day I will use that emotion and build art pieces from it. If I feel alone, I may draw something along the lines of a one person piece, if I'm happy, all my art that day will be of bright colors and smiles.

II have been drawing, sketching and painting since I was a little girl. I remember getting art pencils and paper as a child for my birthday, and just breaking down in tears because of how happy I was. I very easy to please, and I think that this has helped me to being more humble and self sufficient.
